A winter mortality run currently in tanks (December 2009) at Southern Cross Shellfish at Tomaree Point NSW.

The production run has gone to set. Although still early days, the numbers are looking good. Grading is now the focus of activity in the Hatchery.

Expressions of interest are being sought in relation to two more possible runs this season.

The Select Oyster Company (SOCo) Pty Ltd was established by the Oyster Industry of NSW, to commercialise the selected lines of oyster produced from the NSW DPI breeding program for the Sydney Rock Oyster (SRO) and to help all NSW oyster farmers improve their productivity, sustainability and profitability.
